In the last decade Hidetaka has made more than twenty prints of flowers and (or) birds. His two favorite bird subjects - the Japanese white-eye and the great tit – are featured in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. All objects in these ten prints appear to be slightly out of focus which is a distinctive feature of the printmaking method he uses (i.e, mezzotint method of intaglio printmaking).
